What do we produce ?
Invertec is at the forefront of design and manufacture of low voltage lighting systems and interior panels, ceilings and floors for the bus, coach, commercial vehicle and rail markets. We also supply specialist lighting equipment into the alternative energy, shop-fitting and display industries using a variety of light sources including LED, Halogen and Fluorescent tubes.
Since the company's formation in 1980, Invertec has grown so that we now supply all the major bus and coach manufacturers in the UK as well as many industry leaders in other parts of the world.

Around 45% of Invertec’s production is exported around the world. We have a global network of carefully selected distributors and agents to ensure first class sales and support services for our customers.
All our distributors and agents receive comprehensive product training at our UK headquarters.
We have manufacturing facilities in the UK for interior panels and floors in Durham, and Electronics and lighting in Gloucestershire as well as a wholly owned subsidiary in Malaysia - Inverter Technology (Asia) which manufactures and supports the Invertec product range in the Far East and Australasia.
In the United States, Specialty Manufacturing Inc., our sister company in Charlotte, North Carolina, manufactures and supports products in US markets.
How can we benefit you ?
Invertec works in close co-operation with its customers to design and produce specialist and bespoke lighting products and integrated interior systems.
In the bus and coach market, we led the development of continuous extrusion lighting systems - simple, flexible, stylish solutions supplied pre-wired, in easy-to-install, interconnected modules.
We have developed new ways to integrate lighting into other systems so, for example, they can hold grab pole attachments, or coving panels or even be integrated into them or lighting integrated into the panels.
